David D. Peck is a member of the BYU-Idaho Department of History. He received a Juris Doctor degree in 1988, and a PH.D in history of the Middle East in 2003. David is the author of numerous articles on Islam and the LDS religion. His wife Rachel teaches in the Department of Foreign Languages at BYU-Idaho. They have five children.
