Robert J. Matthews is a faculty member emeritus and former dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University. Matthews received his Ph.D. in Ancient Scripture and has served as a CES Instructor in Idaho, Los Angeles, and at BYU. He is a Previous Mission President and was recently released as president of the Mount Timpanogus Temple. Brother Matthews and his wife are the parents of 4 children and 17 grandchildren.
