Kipling Rasmussen, Ph.D. MFT

Dr. Rasmussen received a Masters Degree in Family Studies from Texas Tech University in 1991, and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from
Brigham Young University, 1994. He spent the first years of his career providing individual, group and family therapy to severely
emotionally deprived adolescents in Rochester, Minnesota, where he also designed and implemented therapeutic milieu plans for the program.
He later served as the division supervisor for a company providing foster care services for the State of Utah. Published in both professional
journals and popular magazines, his work examines various aspects of family interaction. He is currently employed at Center for Change,
where he provides individual, group, and family therapy to clients struggling with eating disorders.
