"I'm a San Diego, California native who now is raising three active sons on the edge of Spanish Fork Canyon in Utah. Before I married, I lived abroad in Mexico and Bolivia. But, over the years our family has lived all over the United States and Canada. My husband, Dale, is a Broadcast Journalism Professor at BYU and for five years I worked side by side with him as the News Director for KBYU and BYU Television and Radio.

I currently co-anchor the morning show on Utah's first radio station for women AM820 KUTR, in Salt Lake City with music composer Kurt Bestor. I've worked as a morning news announcer and personality in commercial and public radio for a number of years. I also enjoyed traveling the country interviewing inspiring families as a television correspondent for the syndicated show Family Times and as the TV host of the BYUTV series Living Essentials.
