In this episode, a dried food expert demonstrates how to dry foods such as fruit and jerky that can be used while traveling or backpacking. Then the expert will explain how to make convenience mixes from the dried foods such as flavored rice mixes, potatoes au gratin, hot chocolate mixes and instant oatmeal. Also demonstrated is how to make cheese from powdered milk. Other dried food tips are given.
