Combining innovative puppetry, animation, live action and music to achieve its educational mission of helping children learn to read, Between the Lions, is a great children's show. It's named for the family of lions - Theo, Cleo, Lionel and Leona - who run a library like no other on earth. A magical place where characters pop off the pages of books, vowels, sing, and words take on a life of their own.
