Historic Organs of Bach Country
In 1993, Douglas E. Bush, Professor of Music at BYU, took a group of organists on a tour of the historic organs in the area where Johann Sebastian Bach worked throughout his professional life. This recording is a result of that tour. The CD includes 24 tracks with recordings of ten organs, some of which have never been recorded before. The music is that of J.S. Bach as well as compositions by a few of his contemporaries. The organist is Douglas E. Bush. The CD booklet includes details of the trip and organ specifications. The total length of the compact disc is 63:40.
